The Majeed Discovery Garden is an accessible children’s garden, located inside the Florida Botanical Gardens— a public, Pinellas County park.The Majeed Discovery Garden is a place for hands-on and experiential education in an outdoor setting, with a goal to connect children of all ages and abilities to nature.
Field trips are $5 per participant, with proceeds going directly towards the growth and development of the Majeed Discovery Garden. Chaperones are free. Financial Assistance may be available. Trips last 2 hours. Fill out the Field Trip Request Form below and our Children's Garden Educator will contact you. Please submit your requests with as much advance as possible.
Field trips are correlated to Florida State Science Standards for all ages. Lesson plans are available for all grades.
Field trips are available for all schools, preschools, homeschool groups, scout troops, etc.
