Pinewood Cultural Park Family Attractions


Sharing the Pinewood Cultural Park with Florida Botanical Gardens are more free family attractions. These include Heritage Village, the Pinewood Nature Preserve, and the UF/IFAS Pinellas Extension gardeners' resource center. All are free thanks to the Pinellas County Parks and Conservation Resources Department.

Heritage Village

A neighboring 21-acre living history museum nestled amongst a natural pine and palmetto landscape, Heritage Village features 33 historic attractions, including a variety of historic homes, general store, railroad depot, two schools, a church, and more.

Until further notice, the village is open to the public, however the historic home tours are not offered at this time. Learn more about upcoming on-site and virtual events.

UF/IFAS Extension Pinellas County is the local branch of a nationwide network of land grant universities providing unbiased, research-based information to America's citizens. In our state, Extension's land grant link is the University of Florida/Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) Located in the Florida Botanical Gardens visitor lobby @ 12520 Ulmerton Road Largo, FL 33774

Help Desk: Monday-Friday from 9am-12 pm and 1pm-4pm. For your convenience, samples can be left anytime Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm.
